🎓 Profile

I am currently a “Hundred Talents” Assistant Professor at the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Shenzhen University (SZU), working with the Visual Computing Research Center (VCC) (headed by Prof. Hui Huang).

I received the B.S. degree from the School of Physics, Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) in June 2021 and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Electronics and Information Technology, Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) in June 2026, supervised by Prof. Haifeng Hu. I was a joint Ph.D. at College of Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2025 supervised by Prof. Yap-peng Tan at CARTIN.

My research interests include: CV & NLP, Multimodal Understanding and Generation, Affective Computing and Cognitive Reasoning, Trustworthy Multimodal Learning, Multimodal Empathetic Response with LLM, Digital Human Generation, Video Understanding, World Model and so on.

我的研究兴趣包括：计算机视觉与自然语言处理，多模态理解与生成，情感计算与认知推理，可信多模态学习，大模型共情回复，数字人生成，视频理解，世界模型等。

I am highly-motivated with foundations of computer science, artificial intelligence, physics, and finance. I have published over 20 papers in top journals and conferences, e.g. IEEE TMM, TAFFC, TACL, NeurIPS, ACM MM, EMNLP.

My long-term goal is to build human-centric perception and cognition system.

I also extensively explore the application of AI for science, cognitive computing, psyhcology, social and economics studies.
